DICOMReader 3.2 /PRO is a software tool that scans any removable data carrier (CD, DVD, flash memory drive, etc.) automatically for images. All contained files are checked; DICOM images are analyzed, and converted (if necessary). DICOM images are transmitted via DICOM STORE to the viewer or PACS.

DICOMReader 3.2 is a DICOM 3.0 compliant application that acts as a DICOM service class user (SCU) and runs on all modern Windows platforms. It allows parallel processing (multi-threading) of multiple media as well as adaptation of external data to the local range of patient IDs and accession numbers.DICOMReader 3.2 comes in two different versions - BASIC and PRO. The PRO version offers several additional features.
